About the position
Actalent is seeking to hire 4 Software Engineers for a client in the aviation industry. This role is primarily onsite with some remote flexibility after the initial onboarding period. The position offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology, catering to both entry-level and senior-level engineers. Entry-level candidates should have a strong capstone project or internship experience related to the required skills.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software for training and simulation product lines.
- Implement features such as rendering, shading, lighting, load balancing, weather effects, animation, multi-threading, anti-aliasing, dynamic paging, and display interfaces.
- Extend and enhance next generation products.
- Engage in all facets of software development including communication, requirements assessment, research, design, development, testing, integration, peer review, documentation, maintenance, and end user support.
Requirements
- Proficiency in C++ or C#
- Experience with Unreal
- Understanding of object-oriented programming
- Knowledge of mathematical capability (matrix algebra, projective geometry, vector math)
- Knowledge of data structures
