This engineering team is dedicated to the Risk and Response business, collaborating with cross-functional teams including Product Managers, Machine Learning Engineers, Data Scientists, and Quality Assurance specialists to establish public trust through effective solutions that support risk and response operations, particularly in escalation handling. As a Software Engineer on this team, you will be responsible for building highly scalable, efficient, and robust trust and safety platforms and tools. You will need to understand product objectives to develop web-based application pages that are optimized for scalability, reliability, and responsiveness, ultimately delivering a compelling end-user experience. Your role will also involve architecting efficient and reusable front-end systems that drive complex web applications, while keeping abreast of emerging web technologies and trends. This includes researching and evaluating the latest web development frameworks and applying new technologies to drive iterative product improvements. The position requires a strong foundation in frontend and fullstack web application development, with a focus on optimizing user experience, stability, scalability, and code modularity. You will collaborate closely with trust and safety specialists, backend engineers, and machine learning engineers to ensure the effectiveness of the platforms you develop.
