About the position

The Software Engineer position is a critical role within a leading software company, responsible for developing software solutions. The engineer will collaborate closely with the product team to design and implement software that meets specific requirements, while also working with Quality Assurance to ensure the quality and functionality of the software. This role offers a hybrid work schedule, allowing for flexibility in work location.

Responsibilities

• Involved in designing, developing, and implementing software solutions with minimal guidance
• Collaborates with the team and leads smaller projects
• Ensures adherence to coding standards and best practices
• Able to take requirements from an SA/Azure and break it into smaller tasks to complete deliverables
• Ability to document all changes being made and update based on the implementation
• Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards
• Support the startup of the new company

Requirements

• Business or technical degree in computer science or a similar field is preferred
• 2+ years' experience with C# software engineering
• Experience with HTTP, Javascript (REACT), JSON, and Node Javascript
• Experience with SQL, SOAP, API, XML, REST
• Experience with API integration
• Proven portfolio of projects
• Excellent communication skills

Nice-to-haves

• Experience supporting and developing Warehouse control systems
• Experience with coordinating and collaborating with cross-functional teams through multiple pieces of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
• Detailed understanding of logistics and IT processes
