About the position
The Software Engineer position at Apple focuses on developing the next generation of user experiences for the Recruiting Platform. This role requires a creative and motivated individual who can solve complex problems and work collaboratively in a multi-functional environment. The engineer will be responsible for implementing quality products that align with business goals, while ensuring high-quality and stable delivery.
Responsibilities
- Build user experiences for Apple's Recruiting Platform.
- Collaborate with project managers and technical teams to implement quality products.
- Find creative solutions to technical problems.
- Work with complex systems and large data sets.
- Promote innovation to improve product performance.
Requirements
- 3+ years of software development experience.
- 3+ years in frontend development.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Excellent knowledge of server-side programming languages and frameworks like Node.js, Express, Java, and Spring.
- Strong understanding of TypeScript and the latest ECMAScript standards.
- Experience with RESTful API usage and development.
- Understanding of security best practices for web applications.
- Experience with micro-services architecture and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience designing and building complex, highly available, large scale web applications.
- Frontend development using HTML5, CSS3, JS & one or more JavaScript frameworks like NextJS, React, Angular or equivalent.
- Experience in web analytics, accessibility, standards, and SEO techniques.
- Experience with non-relational, NoSQL databases and various data-storage systems.
- Familiarity with messaging platforms like Kafka.
- Strong problem-solving skills in a dynamic and agile environment.
