About the position
HTC Global Services is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to join their team in Bloomington, Illinois. The role involves collaborating with experts to build new applications and rearchitect existing ones using AWS Cloud technologies. The position emphasizes teamwork, communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with aggressive timelines.
Responsibilities
- Develop applications with AWS Cloud development experience.
- Analyze existing applications for rearchitecting or rebuilding as Cloud components.
- Work collaboratively to execute and deliver solutions.
- Utilize time management, critical thinking, and comprehension skills in development.
- Engage with multiple business areas to sunset the TP2 (PCF/Tanzu) Platform.
- Adapt quickly to changing assignments and manage a backlog of migrations.
Requirements
- Strong experience in Spring Framework (Spring Boot, MVC, Spring JDBC, Spring Security, Logging and Tracing).
- Proficient in Java (JDK 8, 11, 17) & J2EE, JSP, Jquery, REST API, Postgres, AWS RDS.
- Knowledge of AWS services including Lambda, ECS, EKS, S3, RDS, Cloudfront, Route53, API Gateway, Secrets Manager, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, SNS, IAM, KMS, Glue.
- Experience with Docker and containerization, including Kubernetes and familiarity with RedHat - OpenShift.
- Experience writing Terraform code and executing Terratests.
- Familiarity with Cloud development languages such as Python, NodeJS, Ruby, PHP, or Spring.
- Experience with CI/CD Pipeline through Gitlab, Jenkins, TekTon/Argo, Vault.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with React/Angular for Single Page Applications.
- Knowledge of Node JS, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
