Responsibilities

• Participate in software development efforts within the Software Center of Excellence.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to complete design and code implementation.
• Conduct unit testing and software/system verification and validation.
• Contribute to the enhancement of the Robotic Assisted Surgery platform.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
• Knowledge of computer science principles, including operating systems and compilation.
• Experience developing software in a Linux environment.
• Proficiency in C/C++ with object-oriented programming skills.
• Experience with Python and shell scripting for software development.

Nice-to-haves

• Troubleshooting and debugging skills.
• Familiarity with common development tools such as build automation (cmake preferred), code coverage, unit testing, static analysis, and source control.
• Experience designing software using visual modeling languages (UML, SysML).
• Knowledge of surgical robotics.
