About the position
This hybrid role involves providing daily technical support to data processing systems, analyzing existing and proposed systems to enhance processing capabilities, and assisting in the installation of programs developed in coordination with end user groups. The position requires enhancing data processing systems through system analysis, coding, testing, and other activities that facilitate technical business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Source, compile, and interpret data; perform analysis for accuracy and efficiencies; effectively communicate analysis output.
- Thoroughly test systems to ensure proper installation of new software, system changes, and overall efficiency; evaluate and convey testing results.
- Provide technical support by performing coding, ensuring processes run smoothly, and continuously improving processing capabilities; work closely with business units and operation teams to support their business objectives.
- Utilize knowledge to develop or install appropriate computer software.
- Provide 24/7 on-call support rotation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree and 1 year of experience in Programming OR High School Diploma or GED and 5 years of experience in Programming.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as JavaScript, Microsoft .NET (C#), ASP.NET Core, HTML 5, XML, SQL Scripting, and Powershell Scripting.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS) or similar code repository system.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow or other information technology service ticketing systems.
- Knowledge of System Life Cycle Development methodology (Waterfall or Agile).
- Ability to be on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, on a rotating basis.
Nice-to-haves
- Recent participation in the FCB 2024 Internship program within the IT group.
- Preferred area of study: Computer Science.
- Preferred area of experience: Microsoft .NET (C#), ASP.NET Core, SQL Scripting, Powershell Scripting.
