About the position

Prescient Edge is seeking a Software Engineer II (Cloud Infrastructure Services) to support a federal government client. This position is contingent upon contract award. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing engineering technical reports, conducting analyses, preparing briefings, and documenting meeting minutes related to various responsibilities including IATA responsibilities, SoS and Capability analysis, Cloud Security Development capabilities, Trusted Security and Networks (TSN), Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM), and Industrial Control System (ICS) and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA). The role requires a strong foundation in software engineering principles and the ability to apply modern software development methodologies such as agile, DEVOPS, and DEVSECOPS in a professional or academic setting. Responsibilities

  • Develop engineering technical reports related to IATA responsibilities.
  • Conduct analysis and prepare briefings for various projects.
  • Document meeting minutes and ensure accurate record-keeping.
  • Support Cloud Security Development capabilities and Trusted Security and Networks (TSN).
  • Engage in Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM) activities.
  • Work on Industrial Control System (ICS) and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) projects.

Requirements

  • 3 years of professional experience in software engineering.
  • Experience with programming concepts in a professional or academic setting.
  • Familiarity with modern software development methodologies (e.g., agile, DEVOPS/DEVSECOPS).
  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as engineering or mathematics (e.g., Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Information Systems).
  • Agile Developer certification or Certified Scrum Developer certification.
  • Security clearance required: SECRET.
