About the position

The Software Engineer II, Data will be responsible for supporting and enhancing the existing codebase, focusing on building and optimizing data processing systems and ETL pipelines. This role is crucial for ensuring the seamless processing and analysis of healthcare data that powers the Intus Care platform, which aims to transform care for PACE programs through actionable data insights.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance ETL pipelines for processing healthcare data using Python, dbt, and Snowflake.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
• Implement and maintain logging and monitoring for data processing tasks.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
• Debug and resolve issues related to data processing and integration.
• Contribute to the design and architecture of new features and improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in software development, with a focus on data processing and ETL.
• Proficiency in Python, with experience in libraries such as Pandas and Numpy.
• Familiarity with database systems and SQL.
• Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with healthcare data and standards.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms and services (e.g., Azure).
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker).
