Responsibilities

  • Codes solutions and unit test to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements
  • Utilizes multiple architectural components (across data, application, business) in design and development of client requirements
  • Performs Continuous Integration and Continuous Development (CI-CD) activities
  • Contributes to story refinement and definition of requirements
  • Participates in estimating work necessary to realize a story/requirement through the delivery lifecycle
  • Contributes to existing test suites (integration, regression, performance), analyze test reports, identify any test issues/errors, and triage the underlying cause
  • Performs spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas

Requirements

  • Extensive experience developing solutions using DB2 PL/SQL
  • 5+ year experience in DB2 database development
  • Strong understanding of Design Patterns and design thinking
  • Strong communication/interpersonal skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to quickly form meaningful working partnerships
  • Works well under pressure and manages multiple priorities
  • Proactive and delivers quality results under aggressive deadlines
  • Self-starter with good aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • Open to learning new technologies and possesses strong analytical skills

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Agile development and tool set like Jira and Jenkins
  • Experience with Autosys, Bitbucket/Git
