Software Engineer II, Financial Analytics

About the position

We are seeking a candidate to drive the automation, integration, and optimization of various financial models and workflows. The ideal candidate will be part of a financial forecasting team under the CFO's office and play a key role in transforming financial operations by developing intelligent automation solutions and integrating them into the company's central data pool. This role requires a combination of data engineering and financial analysis skills. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience and logical thinking in data engineering, and also familiar with finance concepts. Additionally, experience in AI/ML applications will be a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drive the automation, integration, and optimization of financial models and workflows.
• Develop intelligent automation solutions and integrate them into the company's central data pool.
• Work as part of a financial forecasting team under the CFO's office.
• Utilize data engineering and financial analysis skills.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree & 2+ years of experience (or Master's degree) in Data Science, Business Analytics or a related field.
• Experience with data engineering, database management, and automation.
• Familiarity with financial analysis and financial forecasting.
• CPA or CFA is a plus.
• Proficiency in Excel, R, Tableau, SQL, VBA.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
