About the position

As a Software Engineer III Full Stack UI UX at JPMorgan Chase, you will be a key member of the Connected Commerce team within Consumer and Community Banking. This role involves designing and delivering innovative technology products while ensuring they are secure, stable, and scalable. You will be responsible for executing software solutions across various technical areas to support the firm's business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Execute software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting.
  • Create secure and high-quality production code and maintain algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systems.
  • Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications, ensuring design constraints are met by software code development.
  • Gather, analyze, synthesize, and develop visualizations and reporting from large, diverse data sets to improve software applications and systems.
  • Proactively identify hidden problems and patterns in data to drive improvements in coding hygiene and system architecture.
  • Contribute to software engineering communities of practice and events that explore new and emerging technologies.
  • Foster a team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect.

Requirements

  • Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 3 years of applied experience.
  • Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
  • Proficient in UI/React and Java programming languages.
  • Working knowledge of Cloud (Public or Private) concepts.
  • Working knowledge in UI/UX design and concepts.
  • Solid understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.).

Nice-to-haves
