About the position

We are seeking a talented mobile engineer (iOS) to develop innovative products that will transform the Health and Wellness sector. This role involves collaborating with various teams to enhance customer experiences through technological advancements, focusing on both in-store and online services.

Responsibilities

• Implement features from specifications
• Contribute to quality assurance of implemented features
• Ship features and monitor them in production
• Interact with product and design teams
• Collaborate with other mobile teams (including Android) for feature consistency
• Work with backend teams for API definition

Requirements

• Extensive understanding of iOS framework components and their lifecycles
• Solid knowledge of multithreading, networking, and offline storage
• Experience with caching and performance tuning
• Proficient in Swift and Cocoa Touch (UIKit)
• Experience in developing content-rich applications with animations and transitions
• Knowledge of app architecture using design patterns such as MVVM(-C) and MVC
• Ability to build products with a focus on testability and code coverage
• Disciplined approach to development, code review, testing, and documentation
• Desire to improve and adopt the latest iOS features

Nice-to-haves

• Background in creating inclusive digital experiences
• Knowledge of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards
• Experience with assistive technologies and integrating digital accessibility
