About the position

The Software Engineer III position at PDI Technologies involves designing and building advanced software solutions with a focus on cloud maturity and mobility. The role is part of an agile team responsible for all phases of development, including design, testing, and support, while continuously enhancing product quality and performance. Collaboration with various teams is essential to ensure effective communication and project progress.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee design decisions, lead projects, and guide less experienced engineers while collaborating with Architecture, DevOps, and Product Management teams on tools, processes, and solution feasibility.
  • Develop and test software solutions for PDI products, ensuring systems meet user requirements and recommending data model and framework improvements based on best practices.
  • Provide project status and risk assessments to keep programs on schedule and resolve software issues with urgency, maintaining thorough documentation.
  • Troubleshoot and debug development and production issues, working closely with QA Engineers to develop optimal test plans and ensure smooth release stabilization.

Requirements

  • 5-9 years of experience designing, developing, and maintaining software applications in a product development environment.
  • Proficiency in .NET, C#, SQL, JavaScript Web Frameworks (e.g., Angular), and ASP.NET MVC.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Visual Studio IDE, Azure DevOps, or Jira.
  • 1+ year of experience as a technical team lead and 2+ years of practical Agile development experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
  • Highly motivated self-starter with strong problem-solving, analytical skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to collaborate, socialize ideas, and influence decisions while following best practices, departmental policies, and procedures.
  • Familiarity with computer science fundamentals, including OOP, design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
