About the position

The position involves performing quality assurance testing for large-scale Health and Wellness applications at Sam's Club. The role requires collaboration with project teams to establish test cases, execute tests, and ensure software reliability and testability. The candidate will also develop software quality assurance test plans, troubleshoot coding errors, and provide solutions in collaboration with software developers. The ideal candidate will contribute to the development and implementation of business solutions while adhering to company policies and promoting a culture of diversity and inclusion.

Responsibilities

• Participate in project team meetings to develop project plans and review project requirements.
• Perform quality assurance testing for Health and Wellness applications by writing and executing test cases.
• Develop software quality assurance (SQA) test plans for assigned projects, determining testing scope and requirements.
• Assist in writing and developing code, conducting unit testing, and communicating status to team members.
• Troubleshoot open issues and bug-fixes, ensuring on-time delivery and hand-offs.
• Collaborate with software developers to review coding algorithms and resolve coding errors.
• Provide expert advice and guidance on best practices in software development and testing.
• Build relationships with stakeholders to identify business needs and implement solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 2 years' experience in software engineering or related area.
• 4 years' experience in software engineering or related area.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Selenium CI/CD integration.
• Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Knowledge of JIRA for project management.
• Experience with JMeter for performance testing.
• Familiarity with Cucumber for behavior-driven development.
