About the position
The Software Engineer in Test (Mobile) role focuses on developing and maintaining automated test suites for mobile applications using JavaScript-based frameworks. The position requires collaboration within Agile teams to ensure high-quality software delivery, leveraging various testing tools and methodologies to drive innovation in testing processes.
Responsibilities
- Craft and maintain JavaScript-based test suites using testing libraries/frameworks like WebdriverIO and Appium.
- Author automated tests against mobile devices, emulators/simulators, and mobile cloud services.
- Collaborate with Agile teams to influence and build strong partner relationships.
- Drive the innovation process from end-to-end in testing methodologies.
- Utilize Jenkins for continuous integration and configuration management.
- Implement Docker containerization for test execution.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- 6+ years of relevant technical experience in software testing and automation.
- Proven experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with JavaScript-based test automation stacks.
- Strong knowledge of scripting languages such as TypeScript on Node.
- Good understanding of web services testing and familiarity with RestAssured/Karate.
- Experience with Jenkins as a CI tool.
- Familiarity with Docker containerization.
Nice-to-haves
- Background in DevOps environment.
- Experience with mobile cloud services like Seetest.
- Familiarity with Playwright.
