About the position

The SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test) role focuses on ensuring the quality of software through automated testing. This position requires strong Java development skills and experience in various testing frameworks and tools. The role involves working in an Agile environment, leading scrum teams, and creating automation test suites for APIs, UI, and mobile applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Java and Selenium.
• Lead scrum teams in both onshore and offshore settings.
• Create and execute test plans and test cases for API, UI, and mobile testing.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Utilize Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA for project management.
• Implement and enhance testing frameworks such as TestNG, Junit, and Cucumber.

Requirements

• Strong Java development skills with hands-on coding experience.
• Experience with AWS and SQL.
• Proficiency in API automation and testing (SOAP & Microservices).
• Knowledge of testing frameworks like Appium, BDD, and Cucumber.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with Xcode for mobile testing.
• Good communication skills.
