About The Position

The Software Engineer Intern position at Guidewire offers a unique opportunity for students pursuing a degree in Computer Science to gain hands-on experience in a collaborative and inclusive environment. Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a BS or MS program in Computer Science, with an expected graduation date from fall 2025 to Spring 2026.
• Proficiency in programming with Java or other modern object-oriented programming languages.
• Understanding of algorithms and object-oriented design principles.
• Familiarity with Agile and Test-driven development methodologies.
• Experience with cloud-native infrastructure, including AWS services like EKS, Aurora/RDS, and VPC.
• Knowledge of back-end technologies, including RESTful API concepts and Microservices.
• Experience with web-based applications and technologies.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with JavaScript (ES6+) and HTML5/CSS3.
• Familiarity with JavaScript application frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.
