About the position

The Software Engineer Intern position at Keysight Technologies offers students an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in signal processing and software development. Interns will work closely with cross-functional teams to contribute to algorithm evaluation, code development, and system integration, all within a high-tech environment focused on innovation in electronic design and testing.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to algorithm evaluation and code development.
• Assist in final system integration.
• Interface with cross-functional partners from application engineering, product management, and various R&D teams.
• Gain exposure to signal processing and software development.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in computer engineering, computer science, or electrical engineering (Junior, Senior, first year Master or PhD candidate).
• Practical experience and knowledge of TCP/IP networking.
• Experience in frontend development using Angular or React framework.
• Excellent knowledge in Typescript or Javascript.
• Experience in web deployment using On-prem Web Servers or Cloud Services (AWS).
• Experience with web services such as REST.
• Strong instincts and background in creating simple, clean, and easy-to-use user interfaces.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in using Plotly.js or other similar graphing libraries.
• Experience in Leaflet or other interactive map libraries.
• Understanding of RF signals like LTE, 5G, or WiFi or RADAR (class works or work experience).
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
