About the position

BlueHalo is seeking a Java Developer to join our Intel Division, focusing on the sustainment of reporting tools. The role involves maintaining and updating Java processes, NiFi processors, and data flows, working alongside a team of engineers dedicated to supporting Intel professionals.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update Java processes and NiFi processors.
• Support the sustainment of reporting tools.
• Develop and integrate solutions using Java and other programming languages.
• Collaborate with a team of engineers to enhance tools used by Intel professionals.

Requirements

• TS/SCI with polygraph clearance.
• 7+ years of experience as a Software Engineer.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline, or at least 4 years of software engineering experience.
• Experience in the software development/engineering lifecycle.
• Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, Python, and document-oriented databases.
• Experience with Microsoft Windows (XP or newer) or UNIX/Linux/Centos environments.
• Experience developing solutions integrating or extending FOSS/COTS products.
• Familiarity with Web Services within a SOA framework.
• Understanding of technical writing and familiarity with technical documents.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with MongoDB (4.4+).
• Experience with Apache NiFi, Apache Kafka, and Apache Tomcat.
• Familiarity with Git/GitLab.
• Experience developing in a Linux environment.
• Knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS) tools and best practices.
• Experience working in an Agile environment using Jira and Confluence.
