About the position

The Sr. Software Engineer - Java position at Ampcus, Inc. involves working within the Inbound Payments Organization to upgrade multiple Payment Components to the latest versions of Spring and Java 17. The role requires addressing any vulnerabilities that arise from these upgrades and ensuring that testing updates adhere to best practices. Engineers will receive support from a Payment's Team Member for onboarding and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Upgrade multiple Payment Components to the latest version of Spring and Java 17.
• Remediate any vulnerabilities observed or created during the upgrade process.
• Perform testing updates following best practices.
• Collaborate with a Payment's Team Member for onboarding and troubleshooting.

Requirements

• Senior level experience with Spring and Java.
• Proficiency in Maven and Gradle.
• Experience with AWS and Splunk.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive mindset.
• Ability to work effectively as a team player.
