About the position

The Software Engineer position at Capgemini involves developing and implementing Java-based solutions for leading organizations. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement Java-based applications.
  • Design resilient applications with secure coding practices.
  • Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical individuals.
  • Drive resource metrics and analytics.
  • Participate in iterative and agile development processes.
  • Design and write systems using relational databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server.
  • Work with Web Services (SOAP and REST).
  • Contribute to change management and organizational awareness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business, Computer Sciences, or related field.
  • Experience in Java development with strong knowledge in Java technology stack.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong business acumen and organizational skills.
  • Experience with resilient application design and secure coding practices.
  • Ability to see the big picture and set direction for technical implementation.
  • Experience with relational databases and Web Services.
