About the position
As a Software Engineer for the F-22 program at Lockheed Martin, you will be responsible for the development and maintenance of software for Flight Dynamics and Handling Qualities Simulators. This role involves integrating software models into the F-22 Handling Qualities Simulator, maintaining the F-22 Flight Dynamics Simulator for hardware-in-the-loop testing, and developing cockpit display testing software. Your work will directly impact piloted evaluations and operational flight program certification.
Responsibilities
- Integrate software models into the F-22 Handling Qualities Simulator.
- Maintain and update the F-22 Flight Dynamics Simulator for hardware-in-the-loop testing and checkout.
- Develop and integrate F-22 cockpit display testing software.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline.
- Experience with C++.
- Final secret clearance.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with Continuous Integration (CI) tools such as Jenkins, Git, and Bitbucket.
- Experience with real-time software development and integration.
- Experience with Real-Time Operating Systems.
- Experience with automated testing.
- Experience performing software integration in hardware-in-the-loop and/or man-in-the-loop simulation environments.
- Experience with Agile software development methodologies and tools such as VersionOne and Jira.
