About the position
Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking a full-time Early Career Software Engineer (Mission Control Systems) to join an Agile scrum team within a Software Engineering Organization. This role focuses on the development of OMS/UCI services, utilizing modern techniques in DevSecOps and containerized products in a Kubernetes environment. The position emphasizes innovation and collaboration, requiring a strong foundation in software development, particularly in C++ and/or Java.
Responsibilities
- Join an Agile scrum team responsible for the development of OMS/UCI services.
- Develop software leveraging modern techniques in DevSecOps.
- Operate containerized products in a Kubernetes environment.
- Collaborate with team members to build and maintain relationships.
- Engage in constructive conflict and manage interpersonal dynamics.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, or other Engineering degrees with significant software development experience.
- Experience in C++ and/or Java development.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain a government security clearance.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with Rhapsody, MagicDraw, or other model-based software development tools.
- Knowledge of C#, Python, and/or PERL.
- Experience in Agile Software Development.
- Familiarity with DevSecOps practices.
- Ability to travel.
