About the position

The Software Engineer - Mobile QA Automation role involves working with a talented team to develop and execute test scenarios for mobile applications. The position focuses on ensuring quality through various testing methodologies, including unit, integration, and acceptance testing, while also contributing to the development of automation frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Develop test scenarios for unit, process, function, integration, and acceptance testing.
• Define and maintain test system configurations.
• Perform test executions and write test scripts for complex, integrated systems.
• Design and implement tests, debug issues, and define corrective actions.
• Collaborate with multiple SCRUM teams to ensure quality assurance processes are followed.
• Review system requirements and track quality assurance metrics such as defect densities and open defect counts.
• Assist in the definition and implementation of automation frameworks and automation coverage.
• Conduct code reviews and analyze regression test suite maintenance.

Requirements

• Experience in QA automation for mobile applications.
• Proficiency in writing test scripts and developing test scenarios.
• Strong understanding of various testing methodologies including unit, integration, and acceptance testing.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a SCRUM team environment.
• Experience with tracking quality assurance metrics.
