Responsibilities

  • Expand our deployment offerings: Launch new deployment types and introduce advanced cloud primitives such as databases, network solutions, and object storage.
  • Enhance reliability and performance: Take ownership of the reliability and performance aspects of our deployment stack.
  • Leverage AI for infrastructure management: Explore and implement innovative ways to leverage artificial intelligence and machine learning techniques.
  • Improve developer experience: Contribute to the development of intuitive APIs, SDKs, and developer tools.
  • Drive cost optimization: Analyze our infrastructure costs and identify opportunities for optimization.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of working experience in distributed systems, platform-as-a-service, or distributed storage.
  • Expertise in full-stack engineering, developing end-to-end applications from frontend to backend.
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to approach complex challenges pragmatically.
  • Self-directed and autonomous, able to work independently and drive projects forward.
  • Versatility and flexibility to tackle a wide range of challenges across different layers of the stack.
  • Continuous learning and adaptability, passionate about staying up-to-date with industry trends.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience working on cloud infrastructure or platform products, particularly in application deployment, serverless computing, or container orchestration.
  • Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services and tools.
  • Contributions to open-source projects related to cloud technologies, deployment frameworks, or developer tools.
