About the position

Freddie Mac Multi-Family is looking for experienced individual full-stack developers to contribute to the applications that help in the company's mission. As a software engineer, you will be working in hands-on capacity on critical Freddie Mac Multi-Family Systems. You will be collaborating with project team that's comprised of likeminded full stack Agile software developers, all working together to enhance and modernize the capabilities of these systems. Our team is made up of versatile individuals who thrive in a challenging work environment and enjoy applying their problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop full stack solutions using Angular and Java Springboot.
  • Work on application development, bug fixes, security vulnerability fixes, and production support.
  • Support technology and tools changes/improvements on the delivery processes.
  • Collaborate with team members to enhance and modernize system capabilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or engineering or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 4+ years of hands-on development experience.
  • Experience working with Agile scrum software development process.
  • Solid understanding of typical multi-tier architectures, FE, BE, DB, security.
  • Restful API / microservices development experience.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Sound knowledge of unit testing.

Nice-to-haves

  • Languages: node.js, Python, Transactional SQL queries.
  • Testing: Cypress Testing.
  • Modern Tools: Jenkins, Atlassian Suite (Jira, Bitbucket), Git, Spinnaker.
  • Cloud: AWS.
  • Other: EKS, Docker, Openshift.
