About the position

The Software Engineer, QA position at Publicis Groupe involves validating software functionality and ensuring the stability of applications through planned and exploratory testing. The position requires collaboration with software developers and the creation of documentation for testing processes.

Responsibilities

• Exercise planned and exploratory tests to validate software functionality, data warehousing, etc.
• Create documentation for test plans, test charters, risk assessments, etc.
• Design and execute automated tests to ensure fitness and stability of application under test
• Enter bugs/issues/enhancements in tracking system, track status and resolution
• Contribute ideas towards the enhancement and/or modification of designs to improve the product
• Troubleshoot problems in collaboration with software developers

Requirements

• 3-5 years software testing experience
• Experience with SaaS model
• 1+ years testing data warehousing or reporting solutions
• 1+ years' experience with automating testing tools such as Katalon Studio, Selenium, etc.
• Proficient in performance testing
• Fluency in T-SQL in MS SQL Server
• Experience creating cogent, useful documentation including test plans, test cases, specs, etc.
• Experience with JIRA or similar project management software
