About the position

The Software Engineer in R&D SaaS is responsible for designing and developing new features and enhancements for existing products and applications. This role involves serving as a full stack developer, maintaining existing codebases, and collaborating with team members to guide future development. The position requires a focus on delivering high-quality code and scalable software solutions while participating in agile development practices.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop new features and enhancements for existing products and applications.
  • Serve as a full stack developer to deliver high-quality code and scalable software solutions.
  • Maintain existing codebases by improving and/or replacing legacy technology.
  • Work closely with technical support staff to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly.
  • Participate in sprint ceremony meetings such as daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, team demos, and retrospectives.
  • Collaborate with the team to guide the direction of future development within current and future projects.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in .Net, C#, Entity Framework, and MS SQL.
  • Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, Vue.js, or similar front-end frameworks.
  • Experience with unit testing and test-driven development (TDD) methodologies.
  • Familiarity with AWS cloud solutions such as S3, EFS, RDS, and AWS Transfer Family.
  • Strong interpersonal and effective communication skills.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices, Git version control, and CI/CD best practices.
  • A passion for staying at the forefront of technology and continuous learning.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with unit testing and test-driven development (TDD) methodologies is a plus.
  • Familiarity with AWS cloud solutions is a plus.
