Responsibilities

• Write and maintain software layers for robotic manipulators.
• Design and implement user programmable movement commands.
• Develop 3D visualization and collision-free motion planning features.
• Conduct path teaching and calibration of robotic systems.
• Analyze and resolve software defects in a timely manner.
• Communicate effectively with other departments and disciplines.
• Develop project estimates and timelines.

Requirements

• Fluency in C# or C++ with a strong understanding of object-oriented design principles.
• Experience with software robotic control, particularly with multi-axis arms.
• Familiarity with kinematics and geometric modeling of robots in software.
• Experience with CI/CD build processes and version control, preferably Git.
• Knowledge of agile development methodologies or frameworks such as SCRUM.
• Ability to analyze and develop provided requirements.
• Strong communication skills to interface with other business verticals.
• Experience working on both individual and team projects.
• Familiarity with the software development lifecycle.
• Ability to use opportunity cost evaluation in decision making.
