About the position

Amazon Robotics is looking for a skilled Engineer to design and develop advanced vision systems for robotic platforms. This role involves collaborating with a diverse team of engineers and scientists to create scalable and high-performance vision capabilities that enhance the functionality of Amazon's robotic fleet.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and implement vision systems for robotic platforms
• Influence the team's strategy and contribute to long-term vision and roadmap
• Work with stakeholders across science and operations teams to iterate on design and implementation
• Maintain high standards by participating in reviews and designing for fault tolerance and operational excellence
• Prototype and test concepts or features through simulation and with live robotic equipment
• Work directly with customers and partners to test prototypes and incorporate feedback
• Mentor other engineer team members

Requirements

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language
• Experience with implementing 3D Depth estimation algorithms

Nice-to-haves

• 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
• Experience in CUDA programming
• Experience in building or deploying ML depth perception
