As a Software Engineer specializing in Salesforce Marketing Cloud at Ford, you will play a pivotal role in transforming how we engage with our clients through innovative digital solutions. This position is designed for creative thinkers who are passionate about leveraging technology to solve complex problems and enhance customer experiences. You will be part of a diverse, global team that is dedicated to delivering high-quality Salesforce solutions across Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud, and other related technology platforms. Your responsibilities will include hands-on technical design and development, as well as providing leadership and guidance to junior team members. You will be expected to maintain a keen understanding of best practices and development processes to ensure the success of the Ford Pro CRM team. Key indicators of success will include the quality of your work and the positive impact it has on our functional partners and their customers. In this role, you will have the opportunity to implement and learn in three clouds, working with a variety of upstream and downstream systems. You will deliver Salesforce solutions, play a technical subject matter expert (SME) role on projects, and provide necessary guidance to junior team members. You will be accountable for the technical delivery of Marketing Cloud projects, including system testing, documentation, and deployment activities. Additionally, you will support Product Managers in reviewing features and user stories, converting functional requirements into technical requirements, and planning team capacity. Your ability to analyze and identify gaps in functional and business requirements will be crucial, as will your skills in leveraging integrations between Salesforce, Marketing Cloud, and external applications. You will also be responsible for managing technical risks and issues, ensuring engineering excellence, and communicating effectively with internal teams and clients.
