About the position
Broadcom's VCF division is seeking a Senior Software Engineer specializing in ServiceNow Integration. This role involves leading and architecting ITSM solutions for large enterprise and cloud customers, focusing on feature development using advanced technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and hands-on experience in ITSM integrations, particularly with ServiceNow, and will be responsible for delivering high-quality software in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement effective solutions for complex features ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
- Work closely with cross-functional distributed teams including product managers, product and solution architects, and QA.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership to the R&D team, design and develop services.
- Lead design discussions and perform code reviews.
- Lead customer troubleshooting sessions.
- Represent engineering in customer and other stakeholder meetings.
- Maintain deep technical and business knowledge of the domain and market.
- Evaluate and improve engineering processes in an Agile development environment.
Requirements
- BTech/MTech Degree or equivalent in Computer Science.
- 8+ years of experience in architecting, designing, and programming highly distributed, scalable systems.
- ServiceNow ITSM experience including Business Rule, Script Include, Service Catalog, Service Portal, UI Policies, and REST APIs.
- Experience with ServiceNow scoped applications and ServiceNow certification process is preferred.
- Feature/component lead experience for complex features.
- Exposure to microservices architecture, cloud computing, and virtualization is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and test automation frameworks; exposure to DevOps is a strong plus.
- Expertise in Java, Spring framework, REST APIs, Hibernate, JDBC, Python, Groovy, and Go.
- Comfortable working with version control systems like Git and build tools like Maven and ANT.

- Prior experience with ServiceNow scoped applications.

- Experience in working with CI platforms like Jenkins.
