The Software Engineer SME position at S2 involves providing subject matter expertise and project management in various software engineering domains. The role requires significant experience in software development, UX/UI design, and systems analysis, with a focus on delivering high-quality software solutions for government clients. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing complex software programs, ensuring they meet budget, scope, and schedule requirements while maintaining effective communication with senior management.
Responsibilities
- Leverage experience to direct and manage large-scale, complex software programs.
- Provide functional expertise and management guidance to the software team.
- Set and maintain overall direction for the software program.
- Control task scope, budget, and schedule.
- Communicate with senior-level customer management and leadership on the program's status.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Twenty years of experience in software engineering or a related field.
- Active Secret security clearance required.
- US Citizenship.
