As a Software Engineer UI & API Automation Tester within PNC's Retail organization, you will be based in one of our Technology Hub locations (Pittsburgh, PA, Cleveland, OH, Birmingham, AL, Phoenix, AZ or Dallas, Texas). Weekly time in office (3 days per week) required. In this role, you will provide detailed technical design and development of software solutions using existing and emerging technology platforms. You will propose and design software solutions to address complex business needs, write code, test and deploy software, and prepare technical and procedural documentation required for software. Additionally, you will maintain and debug software, ensuring that it meets the high standards expected by PNC and its customers. Successful candidates must demonstrate appropriate knowledge, skills, and abilities for this role. You will be expected to be customer-focused, knowledgeable of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions, and able to leverage that information in creating customized customer solutions. Furthermore, you will be responsible for assessing and effectively managing all of the risks associated with your business objectives and activities to ensure adherence to and support of PNC's Enterprise Risk Management Framework.

Responsibilities

  • Provides detailed technical design and development of software solutions using existing and emerging technology platforms.
  • Proposes & designs software solutions to address complex business needs.
  • Writes code, tests and deploys software.
  • Prepares technical and procedural documentation required for software.
  • Maintains and debugs software.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of relevant industry experience.
  • Experience with JAVA, API, Selenium, Cucumber, and Karate.
  • Experience working with JIRA and Confluence.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment.
