The Software Engineer position is focused on delivering technically complex solutions and providing system integration support for various project work. The role involves consulting and partnering with business product owners to understand their end goals, offering solutions and recommendations during the design phase. The Software Engineer will lead the implementation, configuration, and enterprise adoption of the Workfront platform, managing technology, workflows, and requirements while supporting process improvements to meet the operational needs of the organization. This includes building, maintaining, and updating the Workfront configuration and preferences, which encompasses setup, portfolio, program, and group management, reporting oversight, custom forms, automation, user management, and license allocation. Additionally, the role is responsible for driving the roadmap for system expansion and optimization, creating and maintaining process documentation, and monitoring systems and workflow standards. The Software Engineer will direct the implementation of new functionalities and lead enterprise software integration initiatives, defining requirements, testing, and troubleshooting automation, APIs, and Fusion. The essential duties include configuring the Workfront platform to meet business requirements, driving user adoption, and providing work management transparency through accurate and effective reports and dashboards. The engineer will review and prepare for Workfront releases, implement new functionalities, and communicate new features as needed. They will also develop customized coding, perform analysis, and configure solutions using tools specific to the project or area. In an Agile environment, the Software Engineer is responsible for delivering high-quality working software and automating manual tasks while engaging directly with the business from the beginning of the design work. They will leverage continuous engineering practices to deliver business value regarding the effectiveness of the design, actively participate in refining user stories, and ensure the development of automated unit testing and support for integration and functional testing. The role also includes providing automated monitoring capabilities, warranty support, and knowledge transfer to production support, all while developing code in accordance with the acceptance criteria established by the Product Owner.
