The Software Engineer (System Administrator - Workfront) position is a critical role within the technology team, responsible for delivering technically complex solutions and performing system integration support for various project work. The individual in this role will consult and partner with business product owners to understand their end goals, offering solutions and recommendations during the design phase. This position leads the implementation, configuration, and enterprise adoption of the Workfront platform, managing technology, workflows, and requirements while supporting process improvements to meet the operational needs of the organization. The Software Engineer will be responsible for building, maintaining, and updating the Workfront configuration and preferences, which includes setup, portfolio, program, and group management, reporting oversight, custom forms, automation, user management, and license allocation. Additionally, this role will drive the roadmap for system expansion and optimization, create and maintain process documentation, and monitor systems and workflow standards. The position also involves directing the implementation of new functionality and leading enterprise software integration initiatives, defining requirements, testing, and troubleshooting, particularly in areas such as Automation, APIs, and Fusion. In this role, the Software Engineer will typically lead moderately complex projects and participate in larger, more complex initiatives. They will solve complex technical and operational problems and act as a resource for less experienced teammates. The position requires a strong understanding of Agile methodologies, as the individual will be responsible for delivering high-quality working software, automating manual tasks, and engaging with the business from the beginning of the design work. Continuous engineering practices will be leveraged to deliver business value, and the Software Engineer will actively participate in refining user stories and ensuring robust unit testing and support for subsequent release testing.
