Woolpert is currently seeking a Software Engineer Team Lead who will be responsible for the full life cycle delivery of systems that enable data synchronization between on-premises computer aided mass appraisal (CAMA) systems and the CAMA Cloud platform. This role involves utilizing data integration technologies, including common Relationship Database Management Systems (RDBMS), AS400, and application programming interface (API) based systems. The Software Engineer Team Lead will not only lead a development team but also engage hands-on to enhance current operational systems, improve operational effectiveness, and broaden modernization efforts. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills and a commitment to mentoring and elevating the skills of team members. This includes providing technical guidance and coaching to developers and engineers. The role requires clear communication of technical topics in a manner that is easily understood by the team, as well as collaboration with designers and product teams to propose solutions that meet client goals. The candidate will also be responsible for fostering a culture of knowledge sharing by communicating complex technical concepts clearly. In addition to mentoring, the Software Engineer Team Lead will design, build, scale, and enhance software products, applications, and platforms based on client needs and business requirements. They will define, refine, and document best practices that enable excellent team performance, gather and analyze user requirements, and create specifications that define current and future business rules and processes for systems development. The position also involves providing technical leadership to a development team, ensuring the quality of core system deliverables, and overseeing daily tasks of team members. The candidate will lead and contribute to the development of customer or company information management standards while providing technical advice for risk analysis and change control.
