About the position
Plaid is dedicated to empowering the transformation of how people interact with their finances by building tools and experiences that developers use to create their own products. The Web team at Plaid is a highly cross-functional group responsible for developing and maintaining the website, which is central to the brand and growth strategies. The team is embarking on a journey to reimagine the site and transform how they connect with customers, showcase products, and communicate their story. As an engineer on the Web team, you will play a central role in reshaping the brand with engaging, interactive, and impactful web pages, leading development on full pages and contributing to templatized pages published via the CMS.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to component and page development for plaid.com; championing performance, availability, reliability, accessibility and user delight
- Refine our internal publishing workflows for pages built within a CMS
- Collaborate closely with Marketing, Design, and Product to take web experience from design to production
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience as a front-end engineer or web developer on highly interactive experiences
- High attention to detail and strong design sense
- Experience in both static and server-side websites
- Experience with Javascript, React, or other modern UI frameworks/libraries
- Proficiency with cloud infrastructure, such as AWS or similar
- Familiarity with design systems and component-based web design
