Software Engineer

About the position

As a Software Engineer at Converse, Inc., you will be responsible for developing, coding, configuring, and testing programs and systems to meet defined digital product specifications and direction. Your role will involve creating robust advanced analytics and machine learning solutions that directly impact the business. You will help design and build scalable software solutions, implement and integrate new technologies, and manage and evolve existing platforms. Additionally, you will design and implement scalable applications that leverage prediction models and optimization programs to deliver data-driven decisions resulting in significant business impact. You will assess well-defined problems and lead the development of technical solutions that meet business needs while aligning with architectural standards. Your contributions will also include core advanced analytics and machine learning platforms and tools to enable both prediction and optimization model development, solving machine learning problems at scale, and developing products focused primarily on consumer data. Telecommuting is available from anywhere in the U.S., except from AK, AL, IN, LA, MT, ND, SD, VT, and WY.

Responsibilities

• Develop, code, configure, and test programs/systems and solutions to meet defined digital product specifications.
• Develop robust advanced analytics and machine learning solutions that have a direct impact on the business.
• Help design and build scalable software solutions and implement new technologies.
• Manage and evolve existing platforms.
• Design and implement scalable applications leveraging prediction models and optimization programs for data-driven decisions.
• Assess well-defined problems and lead the development of technical solutions that meet business needs.
• Contribute to core advanced analytics and machine learning platforms and tools for prediction and optimization model development.
• Solve machine learning problems at scale.
• Develop products focused primarily on consumer data.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Computer Engineering.
• Five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or in an engineering-related occupation.
• Three (3) years of experience with Digital Order Management Systems.
• Three (3) years of experience with Warehouse Management Systems.
• Three (3) years of experience with API Tools.
• Three (3) years of experience with Microservices.
• Three (3) years of experience with 3rd party product integration.
• Three (3) years of experience with Retail and Digital systems.
• Three (3) years of experience with XML.
• Three (3) years of experience with JSON.
• Three (3) years of experience with Python.
• Three (3) years of experience with order management and fulfillment process.
• Three (3) years of experience with drop ship process.
• Three (3) years of experience with CommerceHUB platform.
