About the position

The Software Engineer at EVERSANA plays a crucial role in the development team, contributing to the success of software projects through collaboration, design, and technical leadership. This position requires a passion for software, data, and technology, with responsibilities that include leading development efforts and establishing the technical vision for projects.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate on software projects (design, code, mentor and manage work items)
• Create software design and flow diagrams to communicate software components
• Estimate effort for software tasks
• Take on DevOps tasks as necessary
• Identify and suggest opportunities for IT improvement
• Troubleshooting and resolving system problems
• Perform all other duties as assigned

Requirements

• 4 year degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar study
• 6+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
• Proficiency in Microsoft .Net (preferably C#)
• Experience with JavaScript Frameworks (React, Angular, Node)
• Experience with RDBMS database technologies
• Familiarity with Application Lifecycle Management (TFS, VSTS, Jira, etc.)
• Knowledge of version control systems (SVN, TFS, Git)
• Understanding of domain-driven design

Nice-to-haves

• Advanced studies in software engineering
• Experience with DevOps tools (MS Build, Jenkins, Team City, Octopus)
• Familiarity with Distributed Version Control (Git)
• Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra, Couchbase)
• Knowledge of software delivery processes (iterative SDLC for internal IT)
• Experience with SQL Server database projects via Visual Studio
• Familiarity with SQL Server Data Tools (SSIS, SSRS, and SSAS)
