About the position
The Software Engineer position at CACI involves supporting the Analytics Team in delivering reliable and accurate data to end users. The role focuses on analyzing user requirements, designing and coding new software, and debugging existing software. The engineer will collaborate with team members and customers, and may take on a team lead role as needed.
Responsibilities
- Support the Analytics Team in delivering reliable, accurate data to end users.
- Analyze user requirements to derive software design.
- Design and code new software to meet requirements.
- Provide debugging and testing of existing software.
- Collaborate with team members and customers as defined by project needs.
- Serve in a team lead capacity as dictated by project needs.
Requirements
- Experience with PIG and Py-Spark.
- Experience with NiFi and PressureWave is a plus.
- Seven (7) years of experience as a Software Engineer in similar programs and contracts.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
- Four (4) years of additional Software Engineer experience may substitute for a bachelor's degree.
