About the position

Versus Systems is seeking software engineers to develop web dashboards, infrastructure, and mobile SDKs that enhance user interaction with entertainment and media. The role emphasizes collaboration and creativity within a fast-growing team, where every engineer plays a vital part in product design and development.

Responsibilities

• Build features across the platform, including dashboards and SDKs.
• Collaborate with team members to learn new technologies and share expertise.
• Contribute to the overall development process and product roadmap.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in designing, building, and maintaining modern web applications.
• In-depth knowledge of at least two technologies from the stack (Elixir, React/Redux, Swift/Objective-C, Kotlin/Java, C#, Postgres).
• Active interest in learning additional technologies from the stack.
• Autonomy, initiative, and self-motivation with a 'get it done' attitude.
• Preference for Agile methodologies and rapid prototyping.
• Ability to give and receive feedback gracefully.
• Clear and thoughtful communication style.

Nice-to-haves

• Background in the entertainment, media, gaming, and/or adtech industry.
• Experience with scaling and high-availability systems.
• Understanding of early-stage startups.
• Experience with data visualization and analytics.
• Interest in design, UI, and UX.
