About the position

We are seeking a Software Engineer to develop a C# plugin for Microsoft PowerPoint, ensuring alignment with our internal branding and style guide. This role is a short-term contract position based in Independence, Ohio, and involves collaboration with API Development to facilitate seamless data integration into presentations.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement a C# plugin for PowerPoint.
• Work closely with API Development to ensure seamless integration.
• Ensure the developed plugin can load data from our systems into a PowerPoint presentation effectively.
• Uphold the company's internal branding and style guide when loading data into presentations.
• Use skills in .NET and .NET Core to enhance the functionality and user experience of the plugin.
• Collaborate with the team to understand requirements and implement them into the plugin.
• Document all processes for reference and troubleshooting.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Software Engineering.
• Demonstrated skills in API Development.
• Proficiency in C#.
• Extensive knowledge and experience in .NET and .NET Core.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality software on time.
• Solid understanding of the full software development life cycle.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and Scrum practices is a plus.
