About the position

The Software Engineer at Fiserv is responsible for developing and maintaining back-end systems, mobile applications, APIs, and platforms. This role is pivotal as the team embarks on a cloud migration, requiring expertise in cloud technologies and software development. The position involves collaboration in an Agile environment and focuses on creating innovative solutions that enhance financial technology services.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software solutions using Java, Spring framework, and Spring Boot.
• Utilize tools like GITHUB, JIRA, and Docker to streamline the development lifecycle.
• Engage in Integration Testing of APIs using tools like Postman and JMeter.
• Work on database solutions and integrations with Oracle.
• Design and implement full-stack solutions, focusing on digital, mobile systems, API, and micro-services.
• Play a key role in the cloud migration strategy and its implementation.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile development environment.

Requirements

• 5-10 years of experience in software development
• 5-10 years of experience in web service development with Rest and SOAP
• 5-10 years of experience in Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, Spring microservices, Spring JPA, Spring Web Flux, and Hibernate
• 3+ years of experience in RDBMS, NoSQL, SQL Server, Oracle, and Cassandra
• 3+ years of experience in front-end technologies like Angular, React, JavaScript, and HTML
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, work, and/or military experience.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in the payments industry
• Experience with PCF, or related cloud platforms, and API management
• Experience with Kafka, API Gateway, and container platforms.
