We are seeking a Software Engineering Architect specializing in Identity and Access Management (IAM) to join our team. This role is pivotal in designing and building highly resilient, self-healing services that can handle high low-latency transaction volumes at scale. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in either GoLang or Java and a deep familiarity with near-real-time replication of large volume data sets (100MB+). A strong understanding of open cloud technology, particularly AWS, is essential for this position. The architect will be responsible for creating a modern identity management platform that ensures time-bound, role-based least privilege access and lifecycle management for all production systems, including our proprietary Hyperforce infrastructure and acquisitions. The initial focus will be on automating all aspects of Identity Lifecycle Management (ILM), including compliance operations and enabling self-service onboarding for user, service, and application identities. This role will also involve participation in the Hyperforce Architectural Council, contributing to long-range vision and planning for the Hyperforce Identity Management space, with an emphasis on research and investment in AI-based decision-making and usage pattern detection. In this position, you will work closely with various strategic collaborators, including Security, Legal, Global Regulatory Compliance, Infrastructure, and external partners, to develop solutions that address application feature gaps and ensure compliance. You will be expected to deliver highly visible outcomes while balancing immediate time pressures with long-term strategic goals. Additionally, you will collaborate with fellow architects and engineering leads to create and promote long-range plans, including migration strategies, and mentor team members to build essential skills in architecture and standards development.
