About the position

The Software Engineering Consultant at Coventek Inc. is responsible for supporting and implementing engineering software within the Department. This role combines technical skills with database administration knowledge to assist in high-complexity projects, ensuring effective use of engineering software and documentation systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist Department personnel in the implementation of new engineering software.
• Serve as one of the Administrators for the Department's Engineering Document Management system (Bentley ProjectWise).
• Support the Department's electronic file exchange tool (Bentley ProjectWise Deliverables Management) for internal and external staff.
• Provide day to day user support.
• Assist in maintaining the Department's Engineering Software standards and documentation.
• Develop/conduct engineering software user training sessions.
• Document/revise existing and new business processes to meet new/revised engineering software requirements.
• Develop engineering software best practices.
• Investigate new and emerging engineering technology and make recommendations to Department personnel and management for implementation.

Requirements

• Excellent organizational and planning skills.
• Experience using/supporting document management systems such as Bentley ProjectWise (2 years preferred).
• Competent in the use of MS Office suite (5 years required).
• Experience developing training materials and conducting training sessions (2 years preferred).
• Experience providing customer support (2 years preferred).
• Experience in developing technical documentation (2 years required).
• Experience working in an Architectural or Engineering environment (5 years required).

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with ServiceNOW.

• Estimated salary range of $92.2K - $117K per year.
