Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a Summer 2025 Software Engineer Intern to perform software analysis and development, collaborating with design engineers to create optimal solutions for the FBM EGSE Organization. This role emphasizes teamwork and requires a strong foundation in programming and software platforms.

Perform preliminary and detailed level software analysis and development.
Collaborate with design engineers to develop optimal solutions for the FBM EGSE Organization.

Currently enrolled in an accredited degree program majoring in Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Experience programming in C, C++, or an equivalent programming language.
Must be a US Citizen; this position will require obtaining a government security clearance.

Working knowledge in multiple software platforms.
Working knowledge in Windows and Linux OS environments.
Coursework in object-oriented software design.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment.
Proficient with Microsoft Office.
