About the position

The position involves leading and managing engineering teams to build and scale industry-leading digital lending applications. The role focuses on optimizing team performance, ensuring the stability of production applications, and contributing to strategic technology planning. The ideal candidate will balance perfectionism with pragmatism while delivering features consistently and maintaining a sustainable engineering platform.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the performance of engineering teams and motivate high-performing teams.
• Guide the success of engineering teams to deliver sound features in digital lending.
• Break down projects into reasonable MVPs (Minimum Viable Products).
• Ensure production applications are stable and operating as expected.
• Oversee the cadence of meetings, code reviews, and project management.
• Contribute to strategic technology planning.

Requirements

• At least 6 years of experience leading and managing engineering teams, preferably multiple teams.
• Experience with technologies such as IBM iSeries Systems, DB2 Database Platform, Ruby on Rails, Angular, and Middleware (MuleSoft).
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
