Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to join the Advisor Gateway development organization within Wealth and Investment Management Technology (WIMT). This role is pivotal in building a platform that will support over 150 applications representing the Wealth and Investment Management business. The ideal candidate will be a leader who can drive standards, reusable architectures, and integration services across a multi-channel framework. The position involves not only development and management but also working on innovation projects, implementing DevOps practices, and adhering to enterprise architecture standards. The successful candidate will work independently, manage risks, and collaborate with technology and business leaders to shape the future of the WIM business. In this role, you will be responsible for the development and design of the core framework application for the Wealth and Investment Management business. You will measure, validate, and strengthen both non-functional and functional requirements within the framework. Partnering with platform support, you will operate the platform with transparent reporting and metrics. Additionally, you will manage, coach, and develop a team of engineers, ensuring they build high-quality capabilities using modern technology. Adherence to the Banking Platform Architecture and meeting non-functional requirements with each release will be critical. You will engage with architects and experienced engineers to incorporate Wells Fargo Technology's technical strategies, understanding next-generation domain architecture to facilitate application migration paths, including cloud readiness and application modernization. As the technical representative for the product, you will collaborate across teams, identify technology roadblocks, and manage the overall software development cycle while ensuring security standards are met. Your role will also involve acting as an escalation partner for scrum masters, fostering a culture of constant learning and improvement, and guiding design and quality evaluations in the codebase. Collaboration with Product Managers and Product Owners will be essential to drive user satisfaction and influence technology requirements in the product roadmap. You will also interact directly with third-party vendors and technology service providers, managing the allocation of people and financial resources for technology engineering, including career development and performance management for your team.
